Dr. Mithun Joy Karot

Dr. Mithun Joy Karot is a Specialist Pulmonologist with over 15 years of experience in the medical field, specialising in Pulmonary Medicine. He completed his MBBS from the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Pondicherry University, India, and his MD in Pulmonary Medicine from the Chettinad Academy of Research & Education, India. He is well-versed in managing various parenchymal, interstitial, airway and pleural pathologies of the lung. Dr. Mithun is experienced in interventional procedures such as thoracocentesis, tube thoracostomy, bronchoscopy, etc. He is also trained in Critcal Care Medicine with proficient skills in intubation, CVC/HD catheter insertion, and ventilator/ICU management. Dr. Mithun has also presented multiple posters/papers in pulmonary medicine at national and international levels and has an active involvement in research and the future of pulmonary medicine.
