About

Prof. Dr. Martin Leixnering is a renowned trauma surgeon and hand surgeon with extensive training and many years of experience. He started his medical career in Vienna and specialized in hand surgery at an early stage. As a specialist in trauma surgery, he worked closely with Prof. Jörg Böhler and took over the management of the hand outpatient clinic at the Lorenz Böhler Trauma Hospital. He was also instrumental in the development of a medical-grade digital imaging workstation and contributed to the nationwide digital networking of medical records and X-ray images in Austria. Prof. Dr. Leixnering is not only active in medical research, but is also active as a trainer and lecturer and contributes his expertise to various medical societies and committees.
