About

Dr. Avi Hefetz is one of Israel's leading otolaryngologists and ENT surgeons, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of diseases affecting the thyroid and parathyroid glands, salivary glands, and expertly removing all types of head and neck tumors. These include tumors of the palate and tongue, thyroid tumors, tumors of the lower and upper jaw, skin tumors in the head and neck area, among others. Dr. Hefetz employs the most advanced methods of endoscopic surgery, which allow for the preservation of speech, swallowing function, and aesthetic appearance to the maximum extent possible. With a medical practice spanning since 1987, Dr. Hefetz, together with Dr. Roy Landsberg and Professor Michal Luntz, established the largest clinic in the East for the treatment of ENT diseases and head and neck pathologies. He holds the position of Chairman of the Israeli Society of Head and Neck Oncology and Surgery. Dr. Hefetz has authored over 60 medical articles in leading medical publications and has presented more than 60 scientific presentations both in Israel and abroad.
