Professor Dmitry Pevny is an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive cardiac surgery. He is the inventor of a patent for the use of a new device for minimally invasive treatment of mitral valve prolapse on a beating heart. With over 20 years of service in the cardiothoracic surgery department of Ichilov Medical Center, Professor Pevny has more than 35 years of overall experience in the field of cardiac surgery.
